RRG Huddersfield Toyota were excited to be involved in this year’s Kirkwood Hospice Colour Rush. Now in its third year, the annual event set in the beautiful surroundings at Oakwell Hall Country Park, attracted over 1,000 participants as they took on the 5k route with a difference.
Reaching record numbers, the colourful Kirklees crowds joined together to help raise much needed vital funds for the Hospice in Dalton. Colourful canons kick-started the day and the lively runners were showered with multi-coloured hues of powdered paint as they passed the four sponsored Colour Stations en route. RRG Huddersfield were delighted to support the hospice by sponsoring the red colour station and staff had a fantastic time covering participants in red paint.
RRG Huddersfield Aftersales Manager, Dave Butler said: “At RRG we understand the importance of being integrated into the local community and aim to give back where we can. This is the first time we have worked with Kirkwood Hospice and after learning of the significant work they do, we were pleased to be able to offer our support. The Colour Rush was a fantastic event, which brought the community together and the funds raised will provide essential support for many families across Kirklees.”
The team at RRG Huddersfield would like to congratulate everyone that took part in the event and a massive well done for all of the money raised!
